Re-roof in Bury

This roofing project is a typical re-roof that we regularly carry out on homes throughout Greater Manchester. This re-roof in Bury was well overdue as it was crying out for some TLC. The Ken Smith roofing team brought this 40 year-old home into a new lease of life. There were a lot of broken tiles, and the felt was rotten in a lot of places.

First things first, the old tiles were stripped out, along with the rotten battens and felt. This was to be replaced with new breathable felt and strong battens, and finishing off with new D top gray tiles with new dry verge and dry ridge system.
